Purveyor of invention, seeker of thrill. I am an enthusiast of all things storytelling, no matter what the medium. One deep talk will see you into my philosophical tangents and political tirades. Being easily distracted, hyperactive and quick to forget, I hope that one day I can weave all the chaos in my head into a sick video game. Triple-A developers, here I come.
Diana Na Kyoung Lee
Diana Na Kyoung Lee is a regular columnist and copy editor at Tiger Times, Seoul International School’s prized newspaper. She is a categorical geek who takes pride in her repertoire of puns and in Idealog, her monthly Tiger Times column about pop philosophy. When it comes to journalism, she lives by two mantras. Go show the world something important; no one can publish excuses.
Ju Young (Jules) Lee
Figure skater, cheerleader, poet, and math geek. But most importantly, fashion enthusiast. A junior currently attending Seoul Foreign School, Jules likes to escape the extensive clutches of the IB Diploma Programme by immersing herself into the world of fashion—and indulging in the occasional sugary dessert—through her internship at Vogue Korea.
Writer. Reader. Sleeper. Dreamer. Armed with a (completely legal) copy of Microsoft Word and a semi-reliable internet connection, I’m a man with words on the brain and hands on the keyboard. More often than not, you’ll find me at my laptop writing, or just goofing off. When not sitting at the computer, I’m outside exploring the city, reading a book, or simply taking a nap. If entertainment’s your thing, then you’ve come to the “write” place!
A senior attending Seoul International School, Sue is in her second year writing for Teen10. You’ll get to see many different sides of her in the coming year, with sincerity, passion, and sentimentality making up the majority in her Lifestyle articles. Also a former member of the Korean Women’s National Ice Hockey Team, Sue loves to stay active on the ice or on the field playing soccer, and to spend quality time with her friends and family. Otherwise, her passion includes environmentalism, a cappella music, Yearbook, and anything that’ll make her laugh and smile.
Cheryn has been the Editor for the Academics department for two years. She was born in Manhattan, New York, but grew up in Seoul. 16 year-old, Korean-American girl waiting for the day we see unity in the world. I don’t believe I can summarize myself into a few sentences as there are unknown depths to my identity. I do, however, hope that you’re able to get a kick out of teen10mag as much as I enjoy making my contributions. I highly recommend you check out the fashion tab of our page!
Entertainment Asst. Editor
Born in NJ, childhood spent in Hong Kong, grew up in Korea (YISS ’19). I love baking, singing, and spending time with my friends. During my spare time, you’ll find me eating, sleeping, Snapchatting, or watching Pretty Little Liars (I’m a mix of Spencer and Emily with Hanna’s attitude).
Entertainment Asst. Editor
As a student attending Global Vision Christian School, Joseph finds himself far from the extravagance of Seoul and, instead, in the humble countryside of Eumseong. A self-identified “pop culture freak” in the middle of nowhere, Joseph yearns for the excitement of the city life and finds his only solace to be the opportunity to share his love for entertainment. When you see him, he’s probably listening to music that (unfortunately) nobody has heard of.
Lifestyle Asst. Editor
Expressive and detail-oriented, Senior Suna is daringly a bit of everything: a couch potato yet cross-country runner, and a “work hard play hard” type person. She writes with her heart as ink and her mind as pen; from the lightest to the darkest times, she aspires to make any hue of life her muses and food for thought. She connects with people through salty memes, inside jokes, and deep talks at 3am. She also loves coffee, scarves, cheesy puns, Spanish, and good literature.

I have somewhat of a unique background having lived in Budapest, Hungary for 5 years, which allowed me to travel around the entire continent of Europe. I spend my pocket money just to buy used books or some new ones when I am “settled financially”. One of the best novels I have read recently would be “Behind the Beautiful Forevers” by Katherine Boo. Reading tells a lot about and, to some extent, defines me, as it gives me great inspiration in knowing some of the most fascinating things in the world: life, love and people. Another interest of mine is theatre – I’ve been participating in various drama productions or musicals, and have written successfully performed screenplays.
Academics Asst. Editor
